bio
Graduated in Textile Design from Central St Martins and lived for many years in London until in 2017 she "retired" to Cheltenham only to take up a new interest.
Although Corynna is a textile artist she has recently discovered mono printing which she says gives her the freedom to use colour and pattern which have always been important to her. She makes her own backgrounds by layering papers on to a substrate and then collaging on top. This gives a rich texture to each piece and allows her to alter her work as she goes along. Mainly based on geometric forms she often uses architecture as an inspiration for her work and generally prefers a muted colour palette.
