bio
Kara is a Canadian-born, UK based nature and wildlife artist who paints UK and international wildlife from her seaside home on Hayling Island in Hampshire. Kara takes inspiration from all of the natural world and this is reflected in detailed watercolour studies of the flora and fauna of the UK and the wider world around her. Kara is also a keen birder, and many of her works are watercolour paintings of British birds, as well as many of the migratory / over-wintering species that visit the Island, its Nature Reserves and protected waterways.
