Jo Hatton

I was born in London and studied Art Foundation at Wimbledon School of Art before going on to do my degree at Norwich School of Art. I subsequently moved to Cheltenham in 2009. Landscape has always been my source of inspiration - mainly how the changing light can transform the mood, colour and texture of the land. Hills become undulated, rich with shadows. Or faded, almost transparent in the haze of sunlight. I find this fascinating and through painting I am to some extent striving to pause and share these transient moments.
