THIS FRIDAY'S FEATURED ARTIST IS MAIKE NIELSEN
Maike Nielsen's highly saturated, vivacious works celebrate the joy of human connection to nature in all its forms. Using landscapes to convey meaning and emotion, Maike paints the world around her and her personal response to the woods and the water, drawing the viewer to explore their own found feelings. She engages the viewer with her love of light and life and interprets the complexity of human emotions through layered, textural acrylics imbued with symbolism and thought.
