A NARRATIVE ART EXHIBITION OF ALL 2024s WINNING INTERNATIONALLY RENOWNED ENTRANTS.
ABOUT THE AWARDS
The Awards are administered by the University of Gloucestershire under the auspices of Pittville Press. A printed annual and a public exhibition is held each year on behalf of the Press at the University of Gloucestershire. This year the focus of the Awards is narrative. Visual storytelling, whether sequential or single image, gives scope to the imagination and opens up possibilities beyond the present moment; what happened before? What happens next?
The theme "Future Forecasts" invited artists to dive into the depths of their imaginations and depict their visions of the future through illustrations. From gleaming metropolises to the untamed frontiers of unexplored worlds, artists were encouraged to explore the myriad possibilities that lie ahead, whether it's a utopian paradise, a dystopian nightmare, or something entirely unique.
The awarded artists will take part in the exhibition tour as well as feature in the new annual which will be available to buy at the Sixteen Gallery opening!
