SIMON HONEYWILL PRESENTS A SOLO EXHIBITION EXPLORING HIS ENDURING LOVE OF CINEMA.
After four years of preparation, this exhibition is the culmination of a personal journey inspired by the artist's experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. It reflects his emotional response to that period and his enduring passion for cinema developed out of growing up in 1970s Bristol, watching old films as a form of escapism.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Simon Honeywill has been painting for many years, as a side-line, until he went to college in his 30's and gained an art degree at Cheltenham Art College. He then taught art in the community and gained many commissions including the Nuffield Hospital and the Chairman of The Princes Trust.
His painting passions include portraits in acrylics and exploring themes of sensuality and different emotions.
