We're starting 2025 off right with some great shows this January to kick off a year of fantastic work from the collective. After the usual down time as the year rings in, artists rev up for the first exhibitions of the year. Here's the Sixteen Online Artists shows to see this January:

16 - 5 FEBRUARY

NUMBER 8 OPEN EXHIBITION

Fiona Boult is part of the Number 8 Open Exhibition in Pershore. This exhibition showcases the work of artists and photographers from within and beyond the county of Worcestershire responding to the Gallery's open call. The show will include a variety of different styles and mediums all brought together in the Number 8 Gallery Space. Be sure to pop into this thriving arts centre inspired and led by the people of Pershore for a taste of the great creative skill from around the area.

22 - 8 FEBRUARY

THE PASTEL SOCIETY ANNUAL EXHIBITION

- MALL GALLERIES


Both these two artists have been selected to exhibit alongside The Pastel Society in their Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries this month. The show hopes to be a blend of contemporary and adventurous ideas and will include work from established and recently elected members, alongside the selected artists from their open call; showcasing the rich diversity of styles and subject matter in pastel, pencil, charcoal, crayon, and chalk. Promising a wide breadth of work, be sure to check it out if you're in the Capital for a look at some of the best of contemporary pastel artwork.

29 - 4 FEBRUARY

ENVIRONMENTAL PERSPECTIVES

- GARDENS GALLERY


With a duo show at the Gardens Gallery, Antonella Scarpa-Isles and Michael Isles are seeing out a creative January in Cheltenham. With their exhibition Environmental Perspectives they bring together their photography and painting to culminate in a dynamic showing of landscapes through different mediums. If you're a Cheltenham local pop in and check it out, bring a little light into the dark January days.
